Retaining Walls & Stairways
The definition and purpose of a retaining wall…they hold back
tremendous amounts of pressure, soil and rocks…they create useable
space….and they transform a steep slope or hilly terrain into a
functional and appealing part of your outdoor paradise.
Not only do retaining walls provide an important function, but
they can also add dimension, texture and architectural lines to
your landscape. The materials and products we use will be
sure to compliment your home and its surroundings. Steps can
be incorporated into any retaining wall making a convenient and
easy transition from one level to another.
Unfortunately, many retaining walls fail because they are not
built correctly. Donnie Mac's Landscaping has specialized in
engineering and constructing retaining walls for over 17
years. We take pride in the quality of our work and we
stand behind our craftsmanship.

Just a short note of "Thanks" for the "Great Work" that your
company provided for our new home in Suamico in the summer of
2010. Your creative design of our large stone
deck/patio has added a dimension to our home that was totally
unexpected when we began construction. As we bring people to
our home, that area more than anything else, is the thing that
people enjoy.
While it could be argued that other companies offer design
services, the execution of your plan was a thing of beauty.
Given the restricted area that you had to work with, your staff, in
particular Chad & Joe did a fantastic job of keeping the site
neat and organized to minimize the inconvenience to the
neighbors.
Because of the nature and scope of this project, I was very
concerned about the construction methods. I had researched in
advance of our contract, the installation specifications for the
products that were selected for our job. As your men will
tell you, I was on site every day and I witnessed first hand how
your installation and execution exceeded the industry
standards. When spending the kind of money for the projects
that people do, it is reassuring to know that the "Quality of
Installation" will endure, just like the materials.
